Driving
From either Rt 495 (Exit 35C), or Rt 3 (exit 30N Northbound or 30A Southbound) take the "Lowell Connector" to the right sided exit "Thorndike Street"(Exit 5B). At the 4th light, Thorndike St merges onto Dutton Street.
Go to the 2nd light and turn right onto Market Street. Take the first left off Market Street onto Palmer Street at the light, then the first left onto Middle Street.
Life Alive is near the end of Middle Street on the left, next to the Revolving Museum's Garden of Earthly Delights. You'll see an enormous sculptural head. We are right next door up the little stairs!

Parking
Parking is available metered on the street, or in the
municipal garage on Market Street (you would have passed
right before taking the left on Palmer....just one block
from us) or on weekends, across the street from us in
the Enterprise Bank Parking Lot.
Public Transportation
Commuter rail service is available by MBTA from Boston's North Station to Lowell's Gallagher Terminal. Lowell Regional Transit Authority shuttles run between Gallagher Terminal and downtown Lowell every half hour -

Driving
From the West:
- Take Mass Pike (I-90) East to Exit 18 for Allston & Cambridge
- Follow signs for Cambridge and Central Square (2/3 mile from the toll booth, you will run into Mass Ave. (you will see Starbucks on the corner).
- Cross Mass Ave. and take first left onto Bishop Allen Drive
- Go two blocks to end and take a left onto Inman Street
- Go one block and take a left back onto Mass Ave.
- Life Alive Urban Oasis & Organic Cafe®- is on the corner of Inman Street and Mass Ave., as soon as you take the left.
From the North:
- Come South into Boston on Rt 93 (or Rt 95 or local Rt 1).
- Follow signs for Boston/Storrow Drive.
- Follow Storrow Drive to a LEFT EXIT marked Mass Ave/Cambridge.
- Cross the Charles River "north" into Cambridge.
- We are approximately 1.5 miles on your right.
From the South:
- Take Rt 93 North to the Mass Pike (I-90) West.
- Take Mass Pike west to Exit 18 for Allston & Cambridge

There is ample parking within close proximity to Life Alive Urban Oasis & Organic Cafe®. Aside from the variety of on-street parking on Mass Ave., Pleasant Street (across the street from our location) is host to 2 public parking lots.

Subway: Take the Red Line to the Central Square stop.We are located about a block south on your right.
Bus: The #1 MassAve/Dudley Station bus will take you right through Central Square. |
